“Your foot looks like it belongs on a cadaver.”
“Seriously, that’s disgusting.”
That’s Valerie on the subject of my foot – after I took a softball off the ankle bone in last Wednesday’s softball game. We lost it (our first of the summer season) 17-9, but these following pictures are shots of my foot 3 days after the event occurred. Note the swelling around the ankle and how the blood pools down in my foot making the whole thing swell. I’ve been trying to keep the foot above my heart level now but it still looks bloated and gross.
Enjoy!
Note the swollen purple look of the left foot.
See the bruising on the ankle and the blood pooling at my heel and toes.

Perhaps you should see a doctor? You know, just a thought
To quote my lovely wife: “Doctor. Go. Now. He could have fractures.”
Get it checked out Tim. Don’t let this go like you let your teeth go. Improper healing of a foot could drastically affect you the rest of your life.
Ouch, low blow on the teeth comment, lol.
If it helps, don’t freak out. The swelling has gone way down and the ankle isn’t as tender as it used to be.
I’ve seen worse when it comes to swelling, etc.
And dude, I never really noticed this until Nina brought this post to my attention last night…but you’ve got some hairy ass ape-man feet.
BTW, I didn’t realize you guys started playing softball again. I figured you would’ve called me. Let me know if you need your company t-shirt back. I washed it and it’s just hanging in my closet at the moment. /shrug
That should teach ya. Next time make the ball hit your glove instead of your ankle.
After all the blood settles in your foot. The whole bottom of your foot will be black and Blue. You’ll survive though. Will you be able to play on Wed? Can you walk on it yet?
I may still need you. Our turnout for the first game of the year was actually phenomenal, so much so I had to tell guys that we didn’t have any open spots.
So you may get a call soon, if that’s okay.
